<p><a title="Social Network Publishing" href="http://yorgonestoridis.com/yorgo-nestoris-publishing/social-network-publishing/">Social Network Publishing</a> is about delivering content to social network environments. The issue is about creating a controlled and organized stream of content (including commercial content) into social networks, to apply metrics to measure the performance and most importantly to drive the stream back, out of the social network enriched by the contributions triggered inside the social network, for further exploitation for example in Search Engine Marketing.</p>
<p>Sounds complex, but it’s the Social Network Publishing Concept developed by YORGOO Publishing. This concept will be presented and implemented at the July Ycademy Online Seminar taking place this coming week-end.<br />

<h3>Social Network Publishing by Semiomantics</h3>
<p>There are different ways to envisage Social Network Publishing. We are distinguishing namely two:</p>
<p>1. By outsourcing your feed streams and their control.</p>
<p>2. By keeping tight control of all your feed streams. (Semiomantics)</p>
<p>Our tests about <a title="Google Top 10 with Twitter" href="http://yorgonestoridis.com/yorgo-nestoridis-marketing/google-top-10-with-twitter/">Google Top 10 with Twitter</a> with The Diamond of Sancy show, that the Semiomantics approach is much more efficient.</p>
<p>We will implement the Semiomantics Social Network Publishing features on Sunday. As all participants will be equipped with NewsCast on their YORGOO Press site (included in ticket price), we will use the publishing framework of NewsCast to initiate feed streams and collect the returns from social networks.<br />

<p>We have been analyzing the web pages and site rankings of Social Network Publishing specialists and we find that they all have something in common: their effort stops with the delivery TO social networks. We could not find anyone capable of converting social network feeds to Google Top 10 Performance as we demonstrated with semiomantics in our test set-up.</p>
<p>The advantage of Semiomantics is in its publishing framework. Sure there are different versions of it, but Semiomantics packs have all one thing in common: they have a high Google Top 10 performance record, second to none, irrespective of the script you use.</p>

<p>On rank 11: Lori Kober’s Twitter Content: she picked up our feed from YORGOO Press, feeding content from the <a title="Social Network Publishing Education" href="http://education.wegobiz.com/education/social-network-publishing/">wegobiz education YORGOO Blaster</a> and her tweet is carried to rank 11 on Google, pointing to wegobiz Education.</p>
<p><strong>Conclusion</strong></p>
<p>All Semiomantics Frameworks hav the same qualities and features when it comes to performance. Some are just built for niches others for broad publishing across any array of categories.<br />

Sometimes thick mist would roll in from the Atlantic Ocean </strong>and let the world disappear as I galopped along the barren valleys, Tora’s waving mane in my face, her fragrance mixing with that unique salty taste of fog that seemed to move through everything so silently … absorbing even the sound of the thundering hooves …  and the sensuous forms and snaking curves of the dunes disappearing . . .</p>
<p><strong>At times we stopped and listened into the directionless world.</strong></p>
<p>Tora’s ears would play … then she would snort gently at the dog and pull impatiently at the reins to move on and explore what was behind the next sanddune.</p>
<p><strong>It was on a day like that when…</strong> suddenly… as we moved up through the thick sand of a dune and got to its crest to look over it to the other side … the sky opened miraculously and rays of blinding light shone across the valley with the sea at the far distance.</p>
<p><strong>But there was something that struck me instantly,</strong> that I had never seen before… was it a fatamorgana? It looked like a lake… a pink lake … in the middle of the desert.  it had to be a hallucination… but what if not…?</p>
<p>Slowly, we slipped down the dune and continued towards ‘it’. Clearly, Tora was just as intrigued as I was.</p>
<p><strong>Then I heard it: the noise!</strong> It was a loud symphony of seabirds &#8211; pelicans, flamingos, seagulls. . . and our presence didn’t bother them… they carried on with their feasting, dancing and squatting. . .  enjoying paradise.</p>

I don’t know how long we watched them, lost in the blinding reflection </strong>of the sun in the shallow waters… incredibly beautiful pink flamingos sailing across or dipping their heads deep down to feed on what their long graceful legs were uncovering in rhythmic movements.</p>
<p><strong>Then, suddenly, for some unknown reason they all scattered up like a cloud, </strong>drawing a wide screaming circle in the air… Tora and the dog got nervous and then I heard it too:  the reverberating sound of a low-flying military plane somewhere beyond the endless expanse of the desert… but it had passed already… and the flamingos were landing in the glittering waters …</p>
<h3><strong>Pink Flamingo Paradise</strong></h3>
<p><strong>When I came back 3 days later the lake had disappeared. But not its Magic!</strong> The Magic continued through my fantasy and dreams …</p>

<p>While our publishing activity is set on auto-pilot since the June seminar, we take the time in June to upgrade and optimize YORGOO Press Sites.</p>
<p>YORGOO Press has allowed users to familiarize with Newspaper type Content Management Systems and Frameworks. Now, after the first few months of collecting data and experience, it’s time to review our basic personal decisions implemented when formatting the framework.<br />

<p>Ycademy Seminar participants always get the latest and best scripts to work with and for this reason we will suggest an upgrade from YORGOO Press Advanced Newspaper Script to NewsCast. We will add for all participants the NewsCast features to their YORGOO Press account and configure during the Seminar the sites.</p>
<p>The shift from YORGOO Press to NewsCast is relatively simple as we remain on the Semiomantics Framework. We will need however to re-distribute the category IDs again in the new Home Page layout.</p>

<h2>How to create an Ad for Sneakers and Kicks</h2>
<p>Creating an Ad has to do with a product to advertise, a market to reach and to communicate with, an idea and some pictures. This post will deal with the treatment of images for advertising and we use as an example Ads created for Custom Made Sneakers by Global Sports.</p>

<h3>Custom Made Sneakers</h3>
<p>Custom Made Sneakers need custom made ads. The sneaker in question is a Nike Air Max 97 which has been artistically decorated with Swarovski Crystals to become a unique product in a Limited Edition.</p>
<p>While Nike supplies advertising materials and pictures of the Air Max, Custom Made Limited Editions require their own original images. The Quality of the image is or paramount importance.</p>
<h3>The Project and the Picture</h3>
<p>Global Sports sent us some images from which we selected one to serve as a base for the project. The problem is: the lousier the picture, the more work for the designer. If you count designer hours at only $100, then it becomes obvious that paying a professional photographer to take good shots is worth while.</p>
<h3>What kind of Pictures are ideal?</h3>
<p>Most Photographers use some sort of photo editing software such as PhotoShop, Illustrator and similar.</p>
<p>Ideally we therefore get a picture of the product on a transparent background to be able to use it in multiple ways and for multiple purposes. Photographers should deliver the largest possible file size and the highest dpi or ppi rate.</p>
<h3>What we started out with</h3>
<p>Unfortunately we started out from a non professional image, taken with a normal digital camera. The background of the picture was not in sharp contrast with the Sneaker and the image was not top notch sharp and crisp.</p>

<h3>Prepare the image</h3>
<p>After some basic improvement of the image, Bianca and I started each on his side to get rid of the background. It took just over an hour to clean up the picture to end up with a sneaker on a transparent background. Every designer knows, that there is always some more that could be done -  but that’s a matter of time. We finally ended up with a clean picture we could start to work with.</p>
<h3>Composing the Ad</h3>
<p>Once you have a clean picture with a transparent background, things get easier and you can compose the Ad, by adding a background and other graphic elements, text, effects and so on.</p>
<h3>The Sneaker on the Ad</h3>
