Social Network Publishing Seminar by Ycademy

Social Network Publishing is about delivering content to social network environments. The issue is about creating a controlled and organized stream of content (including commercial content) into social networks, to apply metrics to measure the performance and most importantly to drive the stream back, out of the social network enriched by the contributions triggered inside the social network, for further exploitation for example in Search Engine Marketing.

Sounds complex, but it’s the Social Network Publishing Concept developed by YORGOO Publishing. This concept will be presented and implemented at the July Ycademy Online Seminar taking place this coming week-end.

Social Network Publishing by Semiomantics

There are different ways to envisage Social Network Publishing. We are distinguishing namely two:

1. By outsourcing your feed streams and their control.

2. By keeping tight control of all your feed streams. (Semiomantics)

Our tests about Google Top 10 with Twitter with The Diamond of Sancy show, that the Semiomantics approach is much more efficient.

We will implement the Semiomantics Social Network Publishing features on Sunday. As all participants will be equipped with NewsCast on their YORGOO Press site (included in ticket price), we will use the publishing framework of NewsCast to initiate feed streams and collect the returns from social networks.

The Most Powerful Publishing Framework

We have been analyzing the web pages and site rankings of Social Network Publishing specialists and we find that they all have something in common: their effort stops with the delivery TO social networks. We could not find anyone capable of converting social network feeds to Google Top 10 Performance as we demonstrated with semiomantics in our test set-up.

On rank 11: Lori Kober’s Twitter Content: she picked up our feed from YORGOO Press, feeding content from the wegobiz education YORGOO Blaster and her tweet is carried to rank 11 on Google, pointing to wegobiz Education.

Conclusion

All Semiomantics Frameworks hav the same qualities and features when it comes to performance. Some are just built for niches others for broad publishing across any array of categories.

The Benefits of the Social Network Publishing Seminar

Dreaming of Pink Flamingos

Last night, I had a dream . . . the continuation of a magic childhood memory . . . when I roamed through the Namib Desert all by myself for hours, fearless and confident on my beautiful white Arab mare and with my wolf hound at my side.

Sometimes thick mist would roll in from the Atlantic Ocean and let the world disappear as I galopped along the barren valleys, Tora’s waving mane in my face, her fragrance mixing with that unique salty taste of fog that seemed to move through everything so silently … absorbing even the sound of the thundering hooves …  and the sensuous forms and snaking curves of the dunes disappearing . . .

At times we stopped and listened into the directionless world.

Tora’s ears would play … then she would snort gently at the dog and pull impatiently at the reins to move on and explore what was behind the next sanddune.

It was on a day like that when… suddenly… as we moved up through the thick sand of a dune and got to its crest to look over it to the other side … the sky opened miraculously and rays of blinding light shone across the valley with the sea at the far distance.

But there was something that struck me instantly, that I had never seen before… was it a fatamorgana? It looked like a lake… a pink lake … in the middle of the desert.  it had to be a hallucination… but what if not…?

Slowly, we slipped down the dune and continued towards ‘it’. Clearly, Tora was just as intrigued as I was.

Then I heard it: the noise! It was a loud symphony of seabirds – pelicans, flamingos, seagulls. . . and our presence didn’t bother them… they carried on with their feasting, dancing and squatting. . .  enjoying paradise.

I don’t know how long we watched them, lost in the blinding reflection of the sun in the shallow waters… incredibly beautiful pink flamingos sailing across or dipping their heads deep down to feed on what their long graceful legs were uncovering in rhythmic movements.

Then, suddenly, for some unknown reason they all scattered up like a cloud, drawing a wide screaming circle in the air… Tora and the dog got nervous and then I heard it too:  the reverberating sound of a low-flying military plane somewhere beyond the endless expanse of the desert… but it had passed already… and the flamingos were landing in the glittering waters …

When I came back 3 days later the lake had disappeared. But not its Magic! The Magic continued through my fantasy and dreams …

From vision to reality… the above are the first results from working with my new BAMBOO tablet and pen… and it does need some serious adaptation and the right settings… oufff!

Digital Art - as any Art – is 99% perspiration and 1 % inspiration… but I think it’s the inner world, our dreams and fantasies that pull us through and over the hurdles… as we are driven to realize our Dreams… at least in form of digital pictures…  communicating what moved us and what – hopefully – touched YOU!

The Diamond of Sancy est l’oeuvre de Maja Spasova, artiste plasticienne bulgare vivant entre Stockholm (Suède) et Berlin (Allemagne).

Cette oeuvre est visible au sommet du volcan Le Tartaret situé entre Murol et le lac Chambon. Ce volcan est d’ailleurs à l’origine de la formation du lac Chambon, il y a 14 000 ans de ça.

Acces au Diamond of Sancy

Pour y accèder, le plus court chemin est de vous garer sur le parking de l’office de Tourisme à Murol. De là dirigez-vous vers l’école que vous verrez sur votre droite en sortant par le haut du parking. Longez la route sur 100 mètres environ et sur votre gauche vous verrez des escaliers en rondin qui monte vers Le Tartaret… suivez les pancartes violettes et soyez émerveillés par le plus gros diamant du monde !!

L’aluminium qui compose cette oeuvre fait office de miroir et reflète l’environnement dans lequel il semble posé comme dans un écrin… j’ai trouvé ça magnifique et amusant, je suis restée un bon moment à m’amuser avec les reflets hahahaha !!

Aujourd’hui le temps était magnifique et propice à laisser son esprit divaguer… chose à laquelle je me laisse aisément aller dès que je me retrouve dans mon environnement : la Nature. Du Tartaret, le panorama sur le lac Chambon, la Dent du Marais et le massif du Sancy est imprenable. En plus, il y a des Framboises et des Cerises… COOL )

Le massif du Sancy est le témoin et le résultat de processus géologiques et d’éruptions volcaniques propices à l’apparition d’un gros diamant à la surface de la terre !”

WOW !!! Peut-être qu’un jour je vais trouver un gros diamant !!

Il semblerait aussi qu’un diamant trouvé en Inde porte le nom de Sancy… l’Auvergne est internationale

Et bien, encore une oeuvre qu’il va falloir que je retourne voir car je n’ai entendu aucun son… peut-être y avait-il trop de pollution sonore aujourd’hui !

En tout cas, s’il fait une chaleur terrible le jour où vous décidez de venir voir ce diamant oeuvre, n’oubliez pas votre maillot de bain… la plage est juste à côté ! Vous pouvez aussi faire une petite balade agréable au bord du lac Chambon ou allez voir le spectacle du Château de Murol

Google Top 10 with YORGOO Press and Newscast

While our publishing activity is set on auto-pilot since the June seminar, we take the time in June to upgrade and optimize YORGOO Press Sites.

YORGOO Press has allowed users to familiarize with Newspaper type Content Management Systems and Frameworks. Now, after the first few months of collecting data and experience, it’s time to review our basic personal decisions implemented when formatting the framework.

Goals of the Seminar

1. Upgrade YORGOO Press to WordPress 2.8.1 Backbone

We will help all participants to upgrade their YORGOO Press to the latest technology. This concerns the WP backbone as well as the official plugins and the special Semiomantics plugins.

2. Upgrade of YORGOO Press to Semiomantics NewsCast

Ycademy Seminar participants always get the latest and best scripts to work with and for this reason we will suggest an upgrade from YORGOO Press Advanced Newspaper Script to NewsCast. We will add for all participants the NewsCast features to their YORGOO Press account and configure during the Seminar the sites.

The shift from YORGOO Press to NewsCast is relatively simple as we remain on the Semiomantics Framework. We will need however to re-distribute the category IDs again in the new Home Page layout.

We have tested the shift today on Touch Vision Talk, Bianca Gubalke’s YORGOO Press and here is the result:

3. On-site Optimization

Suite et fin.

Nous avons quitté la Rue Notre Dame et nous voici à présent devant le Manoir Ste Marie des Remparts…situé sur les anciens remparts de la ville !

Cette maison est récente et reconstituée avec des éléments architecturaux pour la plupart d’époque Renaissance. Certains éléments proviennent de l’ancien clocher, d’autres des vestiges de remparts.

Un certain M. Barthélémy aurait récupéré à la décharge de très belles pierres sculptées. Il aurait pris balcons, fontaine et fenêtres sur des maisons en ruine pour construire cette ensemble plutôt réussi !!

Dirigeons nous maintenant vers l’église.

Ah, l’église St-André de Besse… Romane et gothique !

L’arc roman (arrondi) est visible sur le clocher. L’arc gothique (en ogive) est visible sur la partie inférieure au-dessus des vitraux. Cette église a été reconstruite en partie, mais son intérieur conserve la sobriété caractéristique de l’art roman.

Cette bâtisse est une fière représentante de nos églises de montagne… Y’a juste ce qu’il faut… ni plus ni moins ! Les montagnards ne s’embarrassent pas de choses inutiles… les décorations ne sont que futilités !

Comme toutes les maisons du village, l’église est construite en basalte, ce qui rend son intérieur sombre et austère. Je lui préfère l’église de St-Nectaire, qui est construite avec une roche très claire… Je vous en parle plus tard de celle-là !

La visite touche à sa fin…

Remparts de Besse-en-Chandesse

Nous voici à présent sur le chemin de ronde, à l’extérieur des remparts que l’on devine d’ailleurs sous le balcon de la maison centrale.

Il ne reste que des ruines des remparts… les périodes de guerre étant terminées… plus la peine de se protéger ! Par contre, toutes les pierres ont été utilisées pour reconstruire d’autres maisons à l’extérieur du vieux village.

Voilà… nous repartons de Besse par un autre endroit.

Nous laissons le Beffroi sur la droite. Au fait avez-vous remarqué la tête de Loup à son sommet ? Les bessards ont une belle histoire qui en explique la raison… Je vous l’ai raconté, Besse-en-Chandesse sauvée par des Loups !
